Although not the grand prize winner, Nicom was a finalist in an awards competition for “developing and implementing innovative new technologies”. The award is being presented by the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters association and the National Research Council.
This award was based on our Container Dwell Time Management System which, for the Halifax Port Authority, provided an immediate reduction in overall transit times for shipping containers being sent inland, enabling the HPA to pinpoint areas that required attention.
We congratulate MedMira for being the winner. MedMira is well-known for their rapid-diagnostics systems for detecting diseases.
