For more than 20 years, Nicom has provided web and IT support for this remarkable event, which raises funds to brighten the holidays for less fortunate children across the Maritimes.
What is Christmas Daddies?
The Christmas Daddies Telethon is a pledge-based variety show that has been a Maritime tradition since 1964. Entirely volunteer-driven, it showcases the generosity, talent, and community spirit of the region. From technical crews to performers and phone operators, everyone involved donates their time and effort to make this event a success.
The telethon supports children in need by providing food, toys, and gifts during the holiday season. Funds raised stay local, directly benefiting families in the area from which donations originate. You can learn more about the rich history of this iconic telethon on the Christmas Daddies website.
Tune In and Make a Difference
This year’s telethon will take place on Saturday, December 7th, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM (AST). The event will air live on CTV and can be streamed online through CTV Atlantic.
In 2023, the Christmas Daddies Telethon raised $814,000, providing food, toys, and gifts for more than 18,000 Maritime children in partnership with The Salvation Army. With your support, we can help make the 2024 telethon an even greater success.
